Edutainment Classes
Each class facilitates your child's cognitive, emotional and social development through structured play and is conducted by a highly trained instructor. Classes are based on a six-level program designed to support your child's growth. Each age appropriate class consists of stretching exercises, music and movement activities, interactive storytelling, problem-solving games, obstacle courses for gross motor development, parachute play, bubbles and more! Alligator Steps utilizes high-quality educational materials that rotate each week so that there is always something new for your little one to discover. The best part of the program? - - You get to participate right alongside your child!


Hatchlings 6 weeks-6 months
Help create those first bonding moments while fostering your little one's visual and auditory senses through music, play, and discovery.
Inchers 6-12 months
Designed for the beginner crawler as they discover new sights, sounds and textures during this interactive time with you.
Striders 12-18 months
Explore the world through the eyes of your little cruiser. Sing, dance and play as your new-found walker develops a sense of self while building self-confidence.
Racers 18-24 months
Your little racer will learn how the world works through simple problem solving activities while developing language and socialization skills.
Stompers 24-30 months
Cooperation and communication is the name of the game. Learn fun and exciting ways to help foster your child's independence while they transition from toddlerhood into early childhood.
Explorers 2½-3½ years
Independence, self-esteem, patience and listening skills are the focus. Join in the fun as your child learns the skills he/she needs for pre-school during this high-energy class.
Family Class 0-4 years
Do you have 2 or more children under the age of 4? Then this class is for your family. A multi-aged, learning program specifically designed for groups of siblings to attend together.

You spoke and we listened! Alligator Steps now offers more Parent & Me opportunities than ever. Specialty classes are taught by a native or certified specialist to ensure that you and your child receive the best experience possible.


Sign, Say & Play®
Consisting of a series of six theme-based classes offered over a 6-week period. These 45 minute sessions are designed for parents and babies to attend together. A total of 37+ useful signs are taught through fun songs, books, and activities. In addition, parents learn simple ways to support their baby's intellectual development. MORE Sign, Say & Play®
This class is an extension of the Sign, Say & Play® class and follows the familiar Sign, Say & Play ® format with fun songs, games, and activities that introduce 36 additional signs. In addition, parents learn simple ways to support their baby's emotional development, tips drawn from Drs. Acredolo and Goodwyn's third parenting book, Baby Hearts: A Guide to Giving Your Child an Emotional Head Start. Japanese Class for Toddlers
This weekly theme-based class offers the best of both worlds! Learn the fundamentals of the Japanese language while enjoying your favorite Alligator Steps class. Learn colors, numbers, animals, family members and much more, taught completely in a foreign language. The class is led by a native speaker and designed to introduce your child to a second language naturally. Playgroups
Are you part of a playgroup? Do you have a special event coming up? Why not bring your group to Alligator Steps? We provide the playroom, equipment, toys, and clean-up. The playroom is all yours, and only yours, for an hour and a half. A dedicated instructor will design a program just for your group. Email info@alligatorsteps.com for pricing and reservations.
Nihongo Kyoushitsu (Japanese Class for Adults)
Have you been wanting to learn more about the Japanese language and the customs of your host country? Then join Rieko for this Japanese program held in an environment that is kid-friendly (should you need to bring your child along one evening because your spouse is TDY or deployed). During the 6 week session you will learn how to introduce yourself, order out at restaurants, ask for directions, contact help in the case of an emergency, purchase items while shopping and common customs for visiting a Japanese family’s house. This class is appropriate for those new to the Japanese language, those with a little more experience, and everyone in between.
